Hello there, and welcone!
This sub-site has been designed, created and developed by Jonathon Higgs, as a means of presenting his EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) work regarding the creation of interactive tutorials on how to make a platformer game using Flash.
I have created and visually re-interpreted a number of self-written tutorials that will help even an almost complete beginner to Flash and its capabilities learn how to create their own platformer game in Flash. Please note that these tutorials are written for ActionScript 2.0, and I shall not be using AS3.
Also know that you will need at least Flash Player 8 to view the animated tutorials - though I would expect if you've come looking for flash tutorials then you've most probably got the latest player anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem for you. :)
